Cast iron and bathroom radiator (No. 35 23024)
1:35 scale
Set consists of the elements needed to create three cast iron radiators and one bathroom radiator.
Single ribs allow to create any size of the radiator (adjusted to the size of the room), and to perfectly paint each element before gluing – for e.g. making stains and adding dust. A valuable addition are control valves – thermostats and connectors at the radiator’s water outlet. Due to their small size, each set includes a spare ones.
The first radiator was created in 1855 by Franz San Galli. His invention revolutionized and forever changed the way of heating rooms. Constructed in the mid-nineteenth century, the heater operated thanks to the compressed and hot steam that circulated in a system of pipes and radiators. The principle of operation has not changed to this day.
