Petie 2nd was one of the aircraft flown by Lt. Col. John C. Meyer, CO of the 487th Fighter Squadron, 352nd Fighter Group. N314BG, was rebuilt from the wreckage of the late lamented CF-BAU of the Canadian Warplane Heritage. After a period in England, it moved to the US. This decal represents this Mustang as it appeared at Gathering of Mustangs and Legends in Columbus, Ohio during 2007. Petie 2nd N314BG and virtually identical Petie 2nd N5427V were both at the 2007 Gathering and were very similar in appearance.
