Reinforced concrete can be found everywhere in modern building construction. The casted steel mats reinforce the material.

If a building is demolished, these steel struts become visible and usually rust very quickly.

Exactly this effect is now also possible in model building and dioramas: our concrete slabs also have a steel mat inside. If the plate is now broken – as the modeler wants it – the steel mat becomes visible and can be individually adjusted by bending and separating individual strands: Prefabricated buildings, multi-storey buildings, bunkers are no problem and with a little imagination they can be adapted to the diorama in no time.
